Under this collaboration, Tenneco is supplying its advanced electronic suspension systems, branded as Monroe® Intelligent Suspension, to McLaren Automotive. These sophisticated systems represent a crucial component in creating the precise and exhilarating driving sensations that are fundamental to McLaren’s brand identity. The relationship between McLaren and Monroe® has a rich history, dating back to 2011 when engineers from both entities collaborated to introduce the innovative Kinetic® suspension on McLaren Automotive’s inaugural supercar, the 12C.
As the Official Intelligent Suspension Supplier, Monroe’s technologies are already integrated into several current McLaren models, enhancing the automaker’s reputation for innovation and performance. The Monroe Intelligent Suspension CVSA2 technology, for instance, incorporates four lightweight electronic two-valve dampers that continuously adjust damping characteristics based on various data points, ensuring optimal ride performance, control, comfort, and safety. This system is featured in McLaren’s 540C, 570GT, 570S, 600LT models, as well as the GT and the Artura high-performance hybrid supercar.

The CVSA2/Kinetic systems are utilized in several McLaren models, including the MP4-12C, 650S, 675LT, 720S, 765LT, Elva, and the new 750S.
