Aston Martin has unveiled a brand-new feature on its multi-award-winning online configurator, allowing customers to design their ideal car within the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team’s pit garage. This is a world first for any automotive manufacturer, with fans, customers, and dealer partners now able to virtually specify any of Aston Martin’s product range within the high-performance setting of a Formula 1® pit garage.
Launched ahead of the second Grand Prix of the season in Saudi Arabia, the new digital environment displays Aston Martin’s AMR23 challenger within the garage, allowing customers and fans to draw inspiration from the pinnacle of motorsport engineering and design when creating their bespoke interpretation of an Aston Martin. Users can also admire the third-placed trophy in exquisite 3D Ultra High Definition detail, following Fernando Alonso’s stunning podium finish at the season-opening Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Once users have designed their ultimate Aston Martin, they can download a personalised brochure of their configuration, share their favourite configurations on social media, and book a test drive at any point in the process. In honour of Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary, the configurator also features a virtual environment of the historic Brooklands circuit, where the marque made its early racing forays.
